Accounts Payable
We are looking for experienced Accounts Payable Assistants who are looking to work in Exeter on an initial 4 -6 month contract.
Working as part of a wider accounts payable function, your responsibilities will include the following:
Provide an effective supplier management service to nominated suppliers on the purchase ledger, to maintain effective and sustainable relationships and minimise financial risk, including recovery of balances
Administer a timely matching process of supplier invoices, credit notes, manual and ad-hoc payment requests (travel expenses,etc) to agreed payment terms.
Process weekly and ad-hoc payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, cheques)
Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of related issues.
Support the delivery of statistical information, management reporting and KPI's to drive improvements in the purchase to pay process
Support the delivery of best practice purchase to pay procedures
In order to be considered successfully, you must be available immediately and have the following:
Experience of working in an accounts payable department.
Have excellent data entry skills and be confident working with high volume processing.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent prioritisation and time-management skills.

This highly sought after position will see you dealing with inbound enquiries, assisting existing customers with their query and providing some admin support.

KEY TASKS
- First class telephone manner in dealing with inbound/outbound calls and in line with guidelines

- Carry out additional administrative tasks as and when required
The successful Customer Service Advisor will have previously worked with a contact centre customer service role.
